AP Generalis advised the Austrian company Austrotherm GmbH., a subsidiary of Schmid Industrieholding, on the successful 100% acquisition of the Greek EPS manufacturer Monosi-Syskevasia S.A., headquartered in Chalkida.
Our M&A team, led by partners Ioannis Anagnostopoulos and Anna Agadakou, provided full legal support throughout the entire transaction. This included:
- Conducting the legal due diligence
- Preparing and negotiating the Share Purchase Agreement (SPA)
- Drafting all other transaction-related documents
- Ensuring the successful execution of the closing
We collaborated closely with the tax advisory and auditing firm CONSTANTIN SIGALAS & Partners to ensure the seamless implementation of the transaction. The technical due diligence was carried out by the engineering and architectural firm Plan EE.

Monosi-Syskevasia S.A. is a well-established and respected manufacturer of EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) insulationand packaging products, and the transaction significantly strengthens its market presence in Greece.
